The All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept is an incredibly efficient, cost-effective solution for patients who have lost most or all of their teeth. If you have only lost one or two teeth, dental implants are a fantastic solution for restoration; however, it may not be the best decision to restore a full arch of missing teeth with multiple individual dental implants. This process can be very costly and involve an extended treatment and recovery period. Luckily, surgical advances have provided patients who need a full-arch replacement with the option to receive the All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept.

The  All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept involves the placement of an implant-supported prosthesis. After the four supporting dental implants are placed during surgery, the patients can begin experiencing some of the benefits of their new teeth almost immediately. While the final prosthetic bridge is carefully designed, patients will receive a temporary prosthesis to use right after the procedure. The  All-on-4 ®  Treatment Concept is very well known for providing the look, feel, and function of natural, healthy teeth, which makes it appealing to individuals who do not want to worry about temporary adhesives or removable bridges. Once the healing period is complete, and the final, custom prosthesis is placed, patients regain their confidence in their ability to eat, speak, and smile comfortably.

What are the benefits of the All-on-4® Treatment Concept?

Patients who choose the  All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept enjoy many benefits, including

  • A prosthesis that looks and feels like one’s natural teeth

  • Elimination of pain caused by decaying or damaged teeth

  • Prevention of bone loss

  • A natural-looking smile

  • A comfortable and stable prosthesis

  • The ability to eat anything you wish

Am I a good candidate for the All-on-4® Treatment Concept?

If you are suffering from broken down teeth or are missing all (or most) of an entire arch of natural teeth, the  All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept for full-arch dental restoration may be the solution you have been searching for. While many patients have been told that they are unable to receive traditional replacement options (like multiple or single dental implants or a fixed bridge), they are still considered potential candidates for the  All-on-4 ®Treatment Concept.

You may be a candidate for the  All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept if

  • You have several failing or missing teeth

  • You are in need of multiple dental implants

  • You are missing an entire upper or lower arch of teeth

  • You wear dentures

What can I expect during the All-on-4® Treatment Concept?

Dr. James will meet with you during your consultation appointment to review your medical history and perform an oral examination. They will assess any remaining teeth and the gums before determining the correct form of treatment. With our advanced in-office CBCT 3D imaging technology, we can analyze the structure of the jaw and bone needed for the placement of the implant posts.

For the first procedure, the dental implants are surgically inserted into the jaw bone, and you will have a temporary set of teeth placed, which will be affixed to the dental implants until the personalized, permanent prosthesis is ready. With the temporary set of teeth placed during the first procedure, patients experience an immediately restored aesthetic to the mouth. Patients will need to undergo a healing period to allow the dental implants to properly fuse with the jaw bone. Once the dental implants are secure and healed, the temporary denture is removed, and the permanent set of replacement teeth are attached to the abutments. The use of four dental implants to restore a full arch of teeth is the most economical way to replace both arches with implant-supported prostheses.

The  All-on-4 ® Treatment Concept dental implants are the best functional and aesthetic solution to replacing a full arch of missing teeth.
