Your First Visit
When you visit our office for your initial appointment, it will consist of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Dr. Porchia James will explain your diagnosis and treatment options. Occasionally, surgery can be performed the same day as the consultation, but, some dental insurances have guidelines which restrict same day treatment. However, a complex medical history and or treatment plan will require a dental insurance pre determination evaluation. We are not in network with any medical insurance companies and we do not accept and or bill to secondary insurances.
Our consultation fee is $110 and our panoramic x-ray is $140 for your initial visit.
If you cancel less than 48 hrs. and no show your scheduled appointment, you will receive a $150 cancellation fee.

X-Rays
If your referring dentist or physician has taken a recent (within 6 months) panoramic X-ray or cone beam CT scan, you may request that they email to info@aboutfacesurgery.com. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our office. Also, remember not all x-rays are covered via dental insurance, because of guidelines added per your employer. All X-ray systems in our office are advanced and fully digital.
