ABOUT FACE Oral & Facial Surgery is proud to launch our ABOUT FACE SMILES For Veterans program. This program provides one veteran with a complimentary full-arch restoration (All on 4) procedure.

 

FULL-ARCH RESTORATION (All on 4 Dental Implants)

​

The recipient will receive a complete set of new teeth at no cost. This type of tooth replacement is called full-arch restoration, and it involves using dental implants to secure a fixed denture in one or both arches. Our experts will work closely with a restorative dentist to complete the treatment.

Be an active duty, reserve, or veteran of the military who has difficulty eating, smiling, or speaking because of missing or failing teeth, this could be a life-changing opportunity.

IT'S EASY TO APPLY!

  • Be an active duty, reserve, or veteran of the military living in the DFW metroplex

  • Answer a few simple questions

  • Submit a 90 second video on why you're applying for and deserve this full arch smile makeover

  • Submit DD214 and driver's license

  • Submit two digital photos of your current smile and your teeth

  • Phase II of application process will determine surgical candidacy (will need to come into the office for this for clinical evaluation and x-rays)

  • Applications become active October 28-Nov 18, 2023.

  • Submit your application by November 18, 2023.

ABOUT FACE SMILES for Veterans

It's Time to Smile Application

Dr. Porchia James of About Face Oral & Facial Surgery will be performing a complimentary, life-changing surgery to those in need of better oral health. We encourage all members in our Veteran community that have missing or failing to apply for the ABOUT FACE Smiles for Veterans program. We will then choose one recipient to undergo full-arch restoration, a procedure that provides a new, fully functioning, healthy, and natural-looking smile. We are accepting applications from October 28- November 18, 2023. The recipient will be announced on December 4, 2023.  This will require a one year commitment of appointments geared toward this procedure.

How many teeth are you missing, if any?
How many of your remaining teeth are damaged?
Will you be available to attend ALL appointments at our practice? (there will be at least 6 appointments required over the course of 9 months)
Have you ever taken medication for osteoporosis?
Do you have any bleeding disorders or take any blood thinners?
Have you ever had any radiation to the head, neck, or face?
Are you currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant in the next 12 months?
Are you currently a smoker?
Have you smoked regularly in the past?
Have you ever had a heart attack or heart surgery?
Are you an insulin-dependent diabetic?
Do you now or have you had problems with substance abuse?
Do yu have any chronic kidney disease that requires dialysis?
Is your overall health good?
Do you have any breathing problems like asthma or COPD?
Have you ever been convicted of a crime and/or is there a pending litigation against you or someone in your household?
